Explanation Text 💬

 


   Hello everyone..., have you ever tried to find out why something happens? For example, the cause of a volcano erupting, the cause of a flood, or the transmigration process. Everything that happens has a reason and there is a process by which it occurs. Well, there is text that explains why and how something happens, namely explanatory text.

   So what is explanatory text???  Explanatory text is a text that explains how and why a phenomenon occurs.

Explanation Text Structure

1.) General Statement

Provide an introduction to the topic such as an explanation of general information.

2.) Explanation

Use paragraphs or statements that explain how or why something happened. Write down relationships such as cause and effect or time sequence.

3.) Closing

Include a closing paragraph or sentence

Procedure Text📃


 what is procedure text??? 

Namely text that provides instructions, informs, or helps readers on how to make or do something.

language features of procedure text:

1.) Use simple present tense

2.) Because we need to explain several steps, we have to use imperative sentence

3.) use conjunctions (first, second, after that, then)

4.) use adverbs (fastly, for an hour, powerfully,)

   News item text is English text that tells an important incident or event in a form that resembles news, or is worthy of being made into news.

   News is divided into two types, namely news conveyed orally and in writing. Of course, we often encounter articles like this in various print media such as tabloids or daily newspapers. We often hear oral news from electronic media such as radio or television.

Generic Structure of News Item


1.) Main Event
   a paragraph that contains a summary of an event, aka an important event that is highlighted to be conveyed to the reader.

2.) Background Event
   contains the background of the events that occurred. Starting from what and who was involved, where, when, why, and how the incident occurred.

3.) Source
   the section that contains the opinions of experts or eyewitnesses. In addition, it can also be in the form of comments from various other parties involved.

  • Using adverbs: time, place, manner

Recount Text

 


hellooo everyone😁, so today I will discuss about recount text. This  recount text functions to retell events or incidents in the past. Stories can be in the form of an action or activity before someone writes the text.

When writing recount text, you must pay attention to the following structure:

1.) Orientation

   In this part gives the readers background information need to under stand the text. The contents of the orientation are who is involved, where it happened, and when it happend.

2.) Events

   In this part cantain about chronological sequenees.

3.) Reorientation

   In this contain personal comment about the event.

Recount Text Language Features

When you are going to write a recount text, of course there are some language rules that you need to pay attention to. This aims to distinguish recount text from other types of text.

1.) Using simple past tense

3.) Focus on specific participant (I, the, writer)

4.) Using action verb (Went, stayed, move)
